About this tool
Paste a list with one item per line and choose how to sort: alphabetical, reverse, by length, by number or just reversed. You can also trim spaces and remove duplicate lines in the same step.
Common uses
Sort names, keywords, file lists, email lists and tags. Numeric sort treats the start of each line as a number, so 10 comes after 2.
Duplicates
Switch on remove duplicates to keep only the first copy of each line, which is handy for cleaning keyword lists.
Language
Sorting uses your browser's locale rules, so accented letters are placed sensibly.
Tips for best results
Check every box before you rely on a result, because one wrong digit changes the whole answer. Use the exact figures from your payslip, bill, certificate or contract, and keep a note of the date you calculated. Rates, thresholds and rules change from time to time, so for tax, fees and legal matters treat the output as an estimate and confirm with the official source named on this page. You can run as many scenarios as you like; nothing is saved or sent, and refreshing the page clears the boxes.
