About this tool
Press Full screen and click or press the arrow keys to go through black, white, red, green, blue and other solid colours. A dead pixel stays black on a bright colour, and a stuck pixel stays lit on a dark one. Look closely at each colour and press Esc to leave.

What is a dead pixel?
A pixel that does not light up and stays black, usually from a fault in the panel.
Can a stuck pixel be fixed?
Sometimes. Gently massaging the area or running a pixel-refresh video can help, but a dead pixel usually cannot be repaired.
