About this tool
Enter your SSC and HSC GPA to see the sum, the average and a weighted score. Many universities ask for a minimum total such as 8.00 out of 10, and some give different weight to SSC and HSC. Use the weights that the admission notice names.
How universities use GPA
A common rule is a minimum SSC plus HSC total or a minimum in each. Some units add a weighted merit score. Read the admission circular for the exact formula for your unit.
Example
SSC 4.78 and HSC 4.90 give a total of 9.68 and an average of 4.84.
Weights
If a university counts HSC twice as much as SSC, enter 1 and 2 as the weights and read the weighted average.
Tips for best results
Check every box before you rely on a result, because one wrong digit changes the whole answer. Use the exact figures from your payslip, bill, certificate or contract, and keep a note of the date you calculated. Rates, thresholds and rules change from time to time, so for tax, fees and legal matters treat the output as an estimate and confirm with the official source named on this page. You can run as many scenarios as you like; nothing is saved or sent, and refreshing the page clears the boxes.
