About this tool
Choose brick or concrete. For a wall, enter its length and height and whether it is half-brick (115 mm) or full-brick (230 mm) thick. For a slab, enter length, width and thickness. A waste allowance is added. The concrete uses a 1:1.5:3 mix (M20), with a 50 kg cement bag.
Frequently asked questions
Which brick size is used?
The standard 240 × 115 × 70 mm brick with 10 mm mortar, about 50 bricks per square metre for a half-brick wall.
