About this tool

Choose a picture and click the background to pick the colour to replace. Raise the tolerance to include similar shades, then choose a new colour or tick transparent. It works best on plain backgrounds, such as a white or blue wall in a passport photo. The picture is processed in your browser.

When to use it

Replace a plain background colour in a photo, for ID and product pictures.
