About this tool

Does it work on a scanned PDF?
No. A scanned PDF holds only pictures and no text. Use the "OCR PDF" tool first.
How are headings found?
Text in a larger font is taken as a heading. A complex layout can hide some headings, so check the result.
Are images included?
No. Only text structure is converted.
Why do some headings look wrong?
Headings are guessed from font size, so review the result.
