About this tool
After you fill in a PDF form, flatten it so the answers cannot be edited or removed. Each page is saved as a picture exactly as you see it, including typed text, ticks and signatures. This is useful before you email a form or upload it to a portal. It runs in your browser, up to 150 pages.
When to use it
Lock filled form fields and annotations so they can no longer be changed, before sending a completed form.
Tips
Keep an editable copy. Flattening cannot be undone.
Privacy
Everything runs in your browser, so your data is not uploaded or stored.

No. That is the point. Keep your unflattened copy if you may need changes.
Does the file get bigger?
Sometimes. Choose a lower quality to make it smaller.
