About this tool

Choose a time and the zone it is in. The table shows the same moment in every US time zone, UTC and London for today, with daylight saving time applied where it is in force.

The US zones

The contiguous United States has four time zones: Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific. Alaska and Hawaii have their own. Most of the country changes clocks for daylight saving time between March and November, but Arizona (except Navajo Nation) and Hawaii do not.

Example

9:00 AM Eastern is 8:00 AM Central, 7:00 AM Mountain and 6:00 AM Pacific.

Tips

When scheduling across zones, state the zone name or use UTC. Daylight saving time changes the gap with London for a few weeks in spring and autumn when the two countries switch on different dates.
