About this tool
Calculate your grade point average for a semester or for your whole degree. Choose the Bangladesh scale (A+ is 5.00) or the US scale (A is 4.0, with plus and minus grades). Add each course with its credit hours and grade. Your university may have its own rules, so check them.
When to use it
Work out your GPA with the Bangladesh 5.0 scale or the US 4.0 scale from grades and credits.
Tips
Use the grade points from your marksheet. Check whether your university counts failed or repeated courses.

How is GPA worked out?
Multiply each course’s grade points by its credits, add them up and divide by the total credits.
Which scale should I use?
Use the one your university uses. Many universities in Bangladesh use a 4.0 scale as well; you can choose the US scale for that.
What is the difference between GPA and CGPA?
GPA is for a term. CGPA is cumulative over all terms.
