The Bangla year has twelve months: Boishakh, Joishtho, Asharh, Srabon, Bhadro, Ashwin, Kartik, Ograhayon, Poush, Magh, Falgun and Choitro. The first six have 31 days in the revised calendar of Bangladesh and the rest have 30, with Falgun gaining a day in leap years.
