About this tool
List your appliances, one per line: name, watts, hours per day and quantity, for example Fan, 75, 10, 3. Enter the number of days and the price of one unit. You get the units (kWh) and the cost for each appliance and the total. Use it to see which appliances cost most.
When to use it
Estimate the units and cost of your appliances, from watts and hours of use.
Tips
Units are kilowatt hours. Divide watts by 1,000 and multiply by hours. Use your tariff for the cost.
