About this tool
Enter the distance, your vehicle’s kilometres per litre and the price of fuel. Tick round trip to double the distance. Add tolls or parking and the number of people to share the cost. Good for family trips, carpooling and office cars.

Plan for the extras
Besides fuel, add tolls, parking, food and any vehicle wear. For shared trips, divide the total by the people so everybody knows the share before the journey.
