Sobre esta ferramenta

Enter the amount, the exchange rate (how many units of the other currency one unit of yours buys) and any fee in percent. The calculator shows the converted amount, the fee, the amount you receive and the inverse rate. You enter the rate, so use the rate from your bank or provider.

Why you enter the rate

Live rates change every second and each bank adds its own margin. By typing the exact rate you are offered, you can see what you will really receive, and compare providers fairly.

Example

Sending 1,000 at a rate of 1.27 gives 1,270. With a 1.5 percent fee you receive about 1,251.

Tips

Compare the rate to the mid-market rate on a search engine or news site to see the hidden margin. The inverse rate lets you convert back at the same rate.
