About this tool

Add an RTF (Rich Text Format) file and get its plain text, ready to copy or save as a TXT file. It is handy when you only need the words, for example to paste them into an email, a form or another editor. Nothing is uploaded.

How to get text from RTF

Add the file and press the button. The text appears in the box and can be copied or downloaded as a .txt file with UTF-8 encoding, so Bangla and other scripts are kept.

What you get

Paragraphs and headings become plain lines separated by blank lines. Tables become tab-separated rows, which paste well into a spreadsheet.

Privacy

The file never leaves your device. This is useful for private letters, contracts and notes.

Consells per obtenir el millor resultat

Treballa amb una còpia del fitxer i conserva l'original fins que hagis comprovat el resultat. Abans d'enviar-lo a un portal, una empresa o un organisme, obre la sortida i mira cada pàgina. Si hi ha un límit de mida, comprova com el mesura el lloc receptor: alguns compten un quilobyte com 1000 bytes, altres com 1024. Tot el processament es fa a la pestanya del navegador del teu dispositiu, de manera que els fitxers grans depenen de la memòria del dispositiu i poden trigar una mica més en un telèfon.
