About this tool
Make an electronic signature to put on contracts, forms, letters and documents. Draw it on the pad, or type your name and pick a script style. The picture is cropped to the ink and has a transparent background, in black, blue, green or red. Nothing is uploaded. To place it on a PDF, use the PDF Form Filler or the Sign PDF tool.
When to use it
Create a signature image by drawing or typing, then download it with a transparent background to place on documents.
Tips
Draw slowly and big, then trim. Use a dark colour so it prints clearly.
Privacy
Everything runs in your browser, so your data is not uploaded or stored.

Is a signature made here legally valid?
In many countries a simple electronic signature is accepted for everyday documents, but some documents need special rules. Check with the person who asked you to sign.
Why is the background transparent?
So you can place the signature over any document without a white box around it.
Is the signature stored?
Only on your device if you choose to save it.
Does it have a transparent background?
Yes, the PNG has no background so it sits cleanly on a page.
