About this tool
Enter your monthly basic salary. The tool estimates the employee share of SSS (5 percent of the monthly salary credit), PhilHealth (2.5 percent), Pag-IBIG (2 percent of up to PHP 10,000) and the withholding tax from the graduated rates, then shows your take-home pay.
How each deduction is estimated
SSS: the monthly salary credit is your pay rounded to the nearest PHP 500 between 5,000 and 35,000, and the employee pays 5 percent of it. PhilHealth: 5 percent premium on a salary between PHP 10,000 and 100,000, shared equally, so the employee pays 2.5 percent. Pag-IBIG: 2 percent of the monthly pay up to PHP 10,000, a maximum of PHP 200.
Tax
The contributions are deducted first. The remaining yearly income is taxed with the graduated table and divided by twelve for the monthly withholding. Allowances, overtime and 13th month pay are not included.
Worked example
A monthly salary of PHP 30,000: SSS 1,500, PhilHealth 750, Pag-IBIG 200. Taxable monthly income 27,550, yearly 330,600; tax 12,090 a year or about PHP 1,008 a month. Take-home about PHP 26,542.
Tips for best results
Check every box before you rely on a result, because one wrong digit changes the whole answer. Use the exact figures from your payslip, bill, certificate or contract, and keep a note of the date you calculated. Rates, thresholds and rules change from time to time, so for tax, fees and legal matters treat the output as an estimate and confirm with the official source named on this page. You can run as many scenarios as you like; nothing is saved or sent, and refreshing the page clears the boxes.
