About this tool

Enter your annual income and, if you wish, the yearly amount of mandatory SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG contributions to deduct. The tool applies the graduated income tax table in force since 2023, where the first PHP 250,000 is tax-free, and shows the yearly and monthly tax.

The graduated rates

PHP 250,000 and below: 0 percent. Over 250,000 up to 400,000: 15 percent of the excess. Over 400,000 up to 800,000: 22,500 plus 20 percent. Over 800,000 up to 2,000,000: 102,500 plus 25 percent. Over 2,000,000 up to 8,000,000: 402,500 plus 30 percent. Above 8,000,000: 2,202,500 plus 35 percent.

13th month pay

The 13th month pay and other benefits up to PHP 90,000 in a year are exempt. This tool does not add that exemption, so subtract it from income if you want to model it. For employees, the employer normally withholds the tax each month.

Worked example

Annual income PHP 600,000 with contributions of PHP 40,000: taxable income 560,000. Tax = 22,500 + 20% of 160,000 = PHP 54,500 a year, about PHP 4,542 a month.

Tips for best results

Check every box before you rely on a result, because one wrong digit changes the whole answer. Use the exact figures from your payslip, bill, certificate or contract, and keep a note of the date you calculated. Rates, thresholds and rules change from time to time, so for tax, fees and legal matters treat the output as an estimate and confirm with the official source named on this page. You can run as many scenarios as you like; nothing is saved or sent, and refreshing the page clears the boxes.
