About this tool
Add a text-based PDF and get a CSV with its rows and columns, detected from how the text is placed on each page. Choose comma, semicolon or tab as the separator. The CSV is written as UTF-8 so Bangla and other languages open correctly.
How the columns are found
Text that sits on the same line becomes one row. A gap wider than a letter or two starts a new column. This works well for statements, price lists and simple tables, and less well for complex layouts, so check the result.
Tips
Use the page picker to convert only the table pages. For an Excel file with one sheet per page use PDF to Excel.
Worked example
A bank statement of 3 pages becomes a CSV with one row for each line of the statement.
Tips for best results
Work on a copy of your file and keep the original until you have checked the result. Open the output before you send it to a portal, an employer or an office, and look at every page. If a size limit applies, check how the receiving site measures it, because some count a kilobyte as 1000 bytes and others as 1024. All processing happens inside your browser tab on your own device, so large files depend on your device memory and may take a little longer on a phone.

Frequently asked questions
Does it find tables automatically?
It groups text by line and gaps. Simple tables work well; complex layouts may need cleaning.
Can it read scanned PDFs?
Only after OCR, because it needs a text layer.
Which separator should I use?
Comma is standard. Use semicolon if your spreadsheet uses a comma for decimals, or tab for pasting.
Is the PDF uploaded?
No. It is read in your browser.
