How to Sort Lines Alphabetically, by Length or by Number (and Remove Duplicates)
Paste a list and sort it A to Z, Z to A, by length or by number, trim spaces and remove duplicate lines in one step.

Lists are everywhere: names, email addresses, product codes, keywords. Sorting them by hand is slow and error-prone.
Quick answer
Paste a list with one item per line, choose how to sort (alphabetical, reverse, by length, by number, or just reversed), optionally trim spaces and remove duplicates, and copy the result.
Sort modes
- A to Z / Z to A: alphabetical order.
- By length: shortest or longest first.
- By number: treats the leading number as a value, so 10 comes after 9 (not after 1).
- Reverse: flips the order without sorting.
Steps
- Paste your list.
- Choose the sort mode.
- Tick trim spaces and remove duplicates if needed.
- Copy the sorted list.
Examples
- Clean up a mailing list by sorting and removing duplicates.
- Order keywords for an SEO plan.
- Sort a to-do list by priority number.
- Arrange tags or hashtags alphabetically.
Tips
- Decide whether capital letters should matter; many tools sort case-insensitively for lists.
- Check for hidden spaces that make "apple" and "apple " different.
- Use Remove Duplicate Lines when you do not need sorting.
- For Bangla text, sorting follows Unicode code points, which is close to the Bangla alphabet order for basic letters.
