Your documents are private. We keep the way we handle files as simple and limited as we can.
What happens to your file
The tools on this site run inside your browser. Your files are opened, changed and saved on your own device and are never uploaded to our server, so there is nothing for us to store, read or delete. Closing the page clears them from memory.
What we do not do
We do not receive, keep, analyse or sell your files, and file names or contents never reach a log, because they never reach us. You do not need an account or an email to use the tools. Details you type into the CV and invoice makers are kept only in your own browser so they are there when you return.
Information kept briefly
Contact messages and tool reports you send are emailed to us; to stop abuse, your IP address is counted in the server's memory for a short time. If the server hits an error, the system log may hold the IP of that request. Your files and file names are never written to any log, because they never reach us. The language you choose is remembered in a small cookie in your browser. To understand how many people visit and which pages they view, we use Google Analytics. It receives general information such as the page name, country and device type, never your files.
A note of caution
For highly sensitive documents (passport, banking details and the like), weigh the risk yourself before using any online service.
Advertising
The site may show advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to show and measure ads, and you can manage ad personalisation in your Google ad settings. Advertising is kept separate from the tools and never has access to your files, which stay in your browser.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small cookie to remember your language choice. Google Analytics uses cookies or similar identifiers to count visits and measure which pages are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the tools keep working without them. We also keep anonymous counters on our own server (which page path was opened on which day, and how many tool jobs succeeded or failed). They contain no IP address, cookie, file name or file content.
Advertising
The site may show ads served by Google AdSense or similar partners in the future. If it does, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your earlier visits to this and other websites. You can manage or turn off personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com, or learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Ads are never placed inside tool results and we never share your files with advertisers.
Your rights and choices
We hold almost no personal data. If you sent us a message through the contact form, you may ask us to delete it at any time. Where laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data and to object to its use; contact us and we will respond.
Children
The site is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
