About this tool

Every PDF or picture you save from a shobfree.com tool is remembered in your own browser for 14 days, up to 20 files. This page lists them with a preview, lets you download a file again, remove it, or send it to another tool such as Compress PDF or Merge PDF. Nothing is uploaded and you can switch remembering off at any time.

How it works

The files are stored in your browser's own storage (IndexedDB) on this device. They are not on our server and other people who use other devices cannot see them. If you use a shared computer, switch remembering off or press Clear all when you finish.

Limits

The last 20 files are kept, files larger than 40 MB are not remembered, and anything older than 14 days is removed. Clearing your browser data also removes the list.

Worked example

You merge three PDFs, then compress the result. Later you open Recent Files, download the compressed copy again and send the merged copy to Protect PDF.

Tips for best results

Take a moment to read the options before you start, and try the tool with a small sample first. Everything runs in your browser on your own device, so nothing you type or add is uploaded, and closing the tab clears it. If something does not look right, reload the page and try again, or use the report link on this page to tell us what went wrong so we can fix it. If a result still looks wrong, change one value at a time to see which box matters most. Bookmark this page if you will need the tool again.
