About this tool
Type the payee and the amount in figures and the tool writes the amount in words with the right grouping, lakh and crore for Taka and rupees, or thousand and million for other currencies. It draws the cheque with date boxes, the amount box, an A/C payee crossing and a signature line, or prints only the filled-in text so you can place it on a printed cheque leaf.
Important
A real cheque is valid only on the leaf issued by your bank. Use this tool to prepare the wording and to check the words match the figures, then copy them onto the cheque, or use the text-only print option to line them up with your cheque book. Always check the result before you sign.
Supported
Bangladesh Taka, Indian and Pakistani rupees, US, Canadian and Australian dollars, pounds, euros, dirhams, riyals and ringgit. You can also change the currency name and cents name. For Taka the words can be written in Bangla.
Worked example
125000.50 becomes One lakh twenty-five thousand Taka and fifty paisa only, with a cheque face you can print or save.
