Double-sided scans
A single-sided feeder gives you all the fronts first and then, after you flip the stack, the backs in reverse order. Add the fronts and the backs to Interleave PDF with the reverse option ticked and the pages fall into the right order.
Legal and audit work
Bates numbers identify every page uniquely, such as ABC-000145. Merge the documents first, then number the merged file and note the last number to continue the next set.
Scans and text
Deskew turns pages into pictures, so run OCR PDF afterwards if you need searchable text. Search and Highlight needs real text, so scanned files should be OCR'd first.
Privacy
All of these run in your browser. Files are not uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
Can I number several PDFs in one run? Merge them first.
Does split by bookmark work without bookmarks? No. Use Split PDF with page ranges.
