About this tool
Enter the room length, width and height, the number of doors and windows, the coats and how much one litre covers. The calculator works out the wall area and the litres. Buy a little extra for touch-ups.

Measuring
Multiply the room's perimeter by the wall height to get wall area. Subtract about 2 square metres for a door and 1.5 for a window. Add the ceiling if you are painting it.
