About this tool
Find the Islamic (Hijri) date for any day or the normal date for a Hijri date. The tool follows the Umm al-Qura calendar used in Saudi Arabia. In Bangladesh, India and elsewhere the moon may be sighted a day earlier or later, so the date for Ramadan or Eid can differ by one day.
When to use it
Convert between Gregorian and Islamic Hijri dates for Ramadan, Eid and religious events.
Tips
Observed dates depend on moon sighting and can differ by a day between places. Use the result as a guide.
