About this tool

Check what a PDF says about itself: title, author, the program that made it, when it was created and changed, the number of pages and the page size in points and millimetres. It is a quick way to check a file before you share it. To remove this information use the Remove Metadata tool.

When to use it

See the author, title, creation date, software and page size stored inside a PDF, for checking where a file came from or before you share it.

Tips

Use Remove Metadata to clear the details. Page size shown here helps when a form asks for A4 or Letter.

ファイルのコピーで作業し、結果を確認するまで元のファイルを保管してください。ポータル、雇用主、機関に送る前に、出力を開いてすべてのページを確認しましょう。サイズ制限がある場合は、受け取る側のサイトがどう計測するかを確認してください。1キロバイトを1000バイトと数えるところも、1024バイトと数えるところもあります。処理はすべて端末のブラウザタブ内で行われるため、大きなファイルは端末のメモリに左右され、スマートフォンでは少し時間がかかることがあります。
