About this tool

Add an RTF (Rich Text Format) file and get its plain text, ready to copy or save as a TXT file. It is handy when you only need the words, for example to paste them into an email, a form or another editor. Nothing is uploaded.

How to get text from RTF

Add the file and press the button. The text appears in the box and can be copied or downloaded as a .txt file with UTF-8 encoding, so Bangla and other scripts are kept.

What you get

Paragraphs and headings become plain lines separated by blank lines. Tables become tab-separated rows, which paste well into a spreadsheet.

Privacy

The file never leaves your device. This is useful for private letters, contracts and notes.

Consigli per il miglior risultato

Lavora su una copia del file e conserva l'originale finché non hai controllato il risultato. Prima di inviarlo a un portale, a un datore di lavoro o a un ente, apri l'output e guarda ogni pagina. Se c'è un limite di dimensione, verifica come lo misura il sito ricevente: alcuni contano un kilobyte come 1000 byte, altri come 1024. L'intera elaborazione avviene nella scheda del browser sul tuo dispositivo, quindi i file grandi dipendono dalla memoria del dispositivo e possono richiedere un po' più tempo su un telefono.
