About this tool
Enter your taxable income and any exempt income. The calculator applies the 0% rate on the first AED 375,000 and 9% on the rest and shows the tax and the effective rate.
The rates
UAE corporate tax applies to financial years starting on or after 1 June 2023. Taxable income up to AED 375,000 is taxed at 0% and the rest at 9%. A 15% domestic minimum top-up tax applies to large multinational groups from 2025.
Taxable income
Taxable income is accounting profit adjusted for items such as non-deductible expenses, exempt dividends and participation gains, and tax losses. Enter the figure after these adjustments, or use the exempt-income box.
Other regimes
Qualifying free zone persons can pay 0% on qualifying income, and small businesses with revenue up to AED 3 million can elect small business relief for tax periods ending on or before 31 December 2026. These regimes are not applied by this tool.
Worked example
Taxable income of AED 1,200,000: the first AED 375,000 is at 0%, the other AED 825,000 at 9%, so tax is AED 74,250, an effective rate of 6.19%.
Tips for best results
Check every box before you rely on a result, because one wrong digit changes the whole answer. Use the exact figures from your payslip, bill, certificate or contract, and keep a note of the date you calculated. Rates, thresholds and rules change from time to time, so for tax, fees and legal matters treat the output as an estimate and confirm with the official source named on this page. You can run as many scenarios as you like; nothing is saved or sent, and refreshing the page clears the boxes.
