About this tool
Enter the distance in kilometres, your car's consumption in litres per 100 km and the price per litre in dollars. You get the litres needed, the trip cost and the cost per kilometre.
How it works
Litres equal distance times litres per 100 km divided by 100. Cost is litres times price.
Example
500 km at 8 L/100 km and $2 a litre costs $80.

Saving fuel
