About this tool
Enter your monthly salary, choose your age group and the CPF ordinary wage ceiling. The calculator shows the employer and employee contribution rates, the amounts, the total going into your CPF and your take-home pay after the employee share.
Rates
For Singapore citizens and permanent residents from the third year, the 2025 rates (employer / employee) are: 55 and below 17% / 20%; above 55 to 60 16% / 18%; above 60 to 65 12.5% / 12.5%; above 65 to 70 9% / 7.5%; above 70 7.5% / 5%.
Wage ceiling
Contributions are worked out on ordinary wages up to a monthly ceiling: S$7,400 in 2025 and S$8,000 from 1 January 2026. Enter the ceiling for your year.
What is not included
Additional wages such as bonuses have a separate yearly ceiling, graduated rates apply to new permanent residents, and the CPF Board changes some age-band rates from 2026. Check cpf.gov.sg for the latest table.
Worked example
A monthly salary of S$6,000 at age 55 or below: the employee pays 20% (S$1,200) and the employer 17% (S$1,020), a total of S$2,220 into CPF and S$4,800 of take-home pay. A salary of S$10,000 is counted only up to the S$7,400 ceiling.
Tips for best results
Check every box before you rely on a result, because one wrong digit changes the whole answer. Use the exact figures from your payslip, bill, certificate or contract, and keep a note of the date you calculated. Rates, thresholds and rules change from time to time, so for tax, fees and legal matters treat the output as an estimate and confirm with the official source named on this page. You can run as many scenarios as you like; nothing is saved or sent, and refreshing the page clears the boxes.
