What counts as metadata
Title, author, subject, keywords, creator program, producer and dates. Some PDFs also carry XMP data, which this tool clears too. The page content is untouched.
Tips voor het beste resultaat
Werk met een kopie van je bestand en bewaar het origineel tot je het resultaat hebt gecontroleerd. Open de uitvoer en bekijk elke pagina voordat je hem naar een portaal, werkgever of instantie stuurt. Als er een groottelimiet is, controleer dan hoe de ontvangende site die meet: sommige tellen een kilobyte als 1000 bytes, andere als 1024. Alle verwerking gebeurt in het browsertabblad op je eigen apparaat, dus grote bestanden hangen af van het geheugen van je apparaat en kunnen op een telefoon wat langer duren.
