How to Use Your Camera as a Mirror Online (Check Yourself Before a Call)
Turn on your webcam or phone camera to see yourself like in a mirror, flip the view, take a photo and download it. Nothing is recorded or uploaded.

Before a video interview or a presentation, a quick look at yourself saves embarrassment: hair, lighting, background and framing. A browser mirror does that without opening a heavy app.
Quick answer
Press start and allow the camera. The picture is flipped like a real mirror, and you can turn the flip off to see how others see you. Take a photo if you want.
Steps
- Open the tool and press Start.
- Allow camera access.
- Check your face, hair and background.
- Toggle flip to see the true (non-mirrored) view.
- Press Photo to save a picture.
What to check
- Light: face a window or a lamp; avoid a bright window behind you.
- Background: tidy, neutral and free of private papers.
- Framing: your eyes about one third down from the top of the picture.
- Eye level: raise the laptop on books so the camera is at eye level.
- Distance: shoulders and head visible, not just the face.
Mirror vs real view
A mirror shows you the way you are used to. Others see the non-mirrored version, which is why photos can feel "wrong". Use the flip toggle to see the real one.
Privacy
The video stays in your browser. It is not recorded or sent anywhere, and the camera stops when you close the page.
