How to Use Invisible Characters for Blank Messages and Spacing
Copy empty Unicode characters for a blank WhatsApp or Instagram message, spacing in a name, or extra gaps. Which one works where, and how to be responsible.

Apps normally refuse an empty message. A blank character, which is real Unicode text that draws no shape, makes the message look empty. People use it for jokes, for spacing in a bio and for names that must "show nothing".
Quick answer
Choose one of the invisible characters and press copy, then paste it into the message, name or bio field. If one does not work in your app, try another.
Common invisible characters
- Hangul filler (U+3164): widely used for blank names.
- Braille blank (U+2800): works in many chats and bios.
- Zero-width space (U+200B): takes no width at all, good for breaking words.
- En/Em space (U+2002/U+2003): visible gap, not blank.
Where each tends to work
Different apps treat these characters differently and update their behaviour often. WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook may accept one and strip another. Test in a private chat.
Steps
- Open the tool.
- Pick a character and press copy.
- Paste into the field and send or save.
Use it kindly
- Blank messages can annoy people; do not spam.
- Do not impersonate a person or hide your identity where it matters.
- Do not use blank names to evade moderation.
- Some payment, delivery and registration forms need a real value.
Technical notes
Because the characters are invisible, they can confuse copy-paste, search and sorting. If you later cannot find a contact whose name is blank, that is why.
