How to Make Printable Bingo Cards for Parties, Classrooms and Events

Bingo is easy to run and works for almost every age. The hard part is making many different cards. This generator creates up to thirty unique cards and gives you a print-ready PDF.

Quick answer

Pick the grid size, choose numbers 1 to 75 or type your own words (one per line), set how many cards you need, and download the PDF. Each card is different, with an optional free space in the centre.

Ideas for your own words

• Classroom vocabulary: words from this week's lesson.
• Baby shower or party: predictions, gifts or phrases people might say.
• Office events: "someone says synergy", "meeting runs late", "coffee machine broken".
• Festival bingo: traditions, foods and activities.

Use at least as many different words as there are squares, and ideally 10 to 20 extra so cards differ.

Making the cards

1. Choose the grid (5 × 5 is classic; 3 × 3 is quick for young children).
2. Decide on numbers or words.
3. Enter the number of cards, up to thirty.
4. Tick free space if you want the centre box marked.
5. Download the PDF. It prints two cards per page.

Running the game

• Prepare a list or pile of the calling items and tick them off as you call.
• Agree the winning pattern first: line, four corners or full card.
• Check the winner's card against your called list before the prize.
• Use beans, coins or a pen for marking.

Tips

• Print on card for reuse and laminate if you want to wipe and replay.
• For large groups, increase the number of different words so duplicates are rare.
• A short 3 × 3 game is good for toddlers and early readers.
