How to Add Blank Pages to a PDF (Start, End or Between Pages)

Sometimes a PDF needs a few empty pages: room for handwritten notes, a clean back side for double-sided printing, or a spare page where someone can sign. Adding them by hand in a desktop editor is slow. The Add Blank Pages tool does it in a few clicks and the file never leaves your device.

Quick answer

Open the tool, choose your PDF, pick where the blank pages go (start, end, after a chosen page or after every page), set how many, and download the result. The blank pages automatically match the size of your existing pages.

When blank pages help

  • Note-taking. Put a blank page after every slide or chapter page so you can write beside the printed content.
  • Double-sided printing. If a chapter must start on a right-hand page, an inserted blank page keeps the layout correct.
  • Signature or stamp pages. Add one empty page at the end for approvals.
  • Binding and separators. A blank sheet between sections makes a printed pack easier to navigate.

Step by step

  1. Open the Add Blank Pages tool and choose your PDF.
  2. Select the position: at the start, at the end, after page N or after every page.
  3. Enter the number of blank pages to insert at each position.
  4. Press the button and download the new PDF.

Tips

  • If your document mixes page sizes, check the result: each blank page copies the size of the page next to it.
  • Use "after every page" only for short documents; a 100-page file becomes 200 pages.
  • Combine with a page-numbering tool afterwards if you want the new pages numbered.

Is it private?

Yes. The PDF is processed in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, so confidential documents are safe to use.
